Homemade Face Pack Recipes:
These homemade face packs help to cleanse your skin and also keep it taut to prevent it from sagging. Homemade face packs help to remove impurities and dead skin cells as well.
For Oily Skin-
Cucumber face pack-
Ingredients:
Cucumber juice (One tablespoon)
Mint juice (One tablespoon)
Peppermint extract (Half teaspoon)
Mix all these ingredients and apply it all over your face and neck. Once it dries off, wash your face with lukewarm water.
Papaya face pack-
This one is fairly easy. All you need is 2 tablespoons of papaya pulp. Apply this on your face and let it dry. Wash this off with lukewarm water. You can also mix lemon juice in it as well.
For Normal Skin:
Lettuce face pack-
For this, all you need are two lettuce leaves. Dip these in some olive oil. Sprinkle a few drops of lemon juice over it. Place these leaves on both sides of your face. Cover this with a towel dipped in cold water. After 15 minutes, wipe your face with a cotton soaked in milk. Rinse with warm water.
Apple face pack-
Ingredients:
Apple- peeled and sliced (Half)
Egg yolk (1)
Oil (Two tablespoons)
Honey (One tablespoon)
Vinegar
Mix all the ingredients and blend to make a paste. Apply this on the face and leave it one for a few minutes. Once the pack dries, wash the skin with warm water.
For Dry Skin:
Almond face pack-
Ingredients:
Almonds (10)
Oatmeal (Two teaspoons)
China clay (Two teaspoons-this acts as a mild exfoliating agent that helps to get rid of skin impurities.)
Lemon juice (half a lemon)
Mashed avocado (One)
Full cream milk (Four tablespoons)
For the almond face pack, make a mixture of the 10 almonds with two spoons of oatmeal and four tablespoons of full cream milk, two spoonfuls of china clay, one mashed avocado and the juice of half a lemon. Once you have the right consistency, apply this on the face and leave it on for 20 minutes. To remove this, use a damp cotton wool, which has been dipped in cold milk. Wipe the pack off and splash your face with cold water. Once done, use a light moisturizer.
Honey and egg yolk face pack
Ingredients:
Egg Yolk (1 tsp)
Honey (1 tsp)
Olive Oil or Vitamin E Oil (Few drops)
For this homemade face pack, mix 1 teaspoon of egg yolk with 1 teaspoon of honey. Then, add a few drops of the olive oil or the Vitamin E oil. Mix the ingredients and apply this evenly all over the face. Keep this on for half an hour and rinse. Pat dry.
Sometimes, you might tend to be allergic to certain fruits or nuts, which may be an ingredient in these homemade face packs. Although it may not have caused any allergy if consumed internally, it is better to keep a sharp lookout for any minute changes or reactions so that you can alter the face packs to suit your skin.
